The Music Factory: Nearly Two Decades of Music Lessons, Mentorship, and Creative Community

For nearly twenty years, The Music Factory in Seattle has been helping students of all ages discover the joy and discipline of learning music. Founded by guitarist, composer, and recording artist Ari Joshua, the school was created with a simple mission: to help people grow through music by connecting them with passionate teachers who are active performing and recording musicians.

Since opening its doors, The Music Factory has taught more than 100,000 lessons, offering personalized instruction in guitar, piano, voice, drums, violin, bass, woodwinds, songwriting, and digital music production. Lessons are tailored to each student’s interests and goals, allowing beginners, hobbyists, and serious musicians to develop their skills in a supportive environment.

While the school has long been known for its welcoming Seattle studio, it now also offers online lessons, allowing students who cannot travel to the location to connect with its faculty and mentorship-driven approach.
